About Me

Hello, I am Antoinette, a woman whose life has been a testament to faith and resilience in the face of adversity. In September 2016, a life-altering fall at home resulted in a Traumatic Brain Injury (T.B.I), dropping me into a world of uncertainty and challenges. Prior to this pivotal moment, I found immense fulfillment in my roles as a devoted wife, a loving dedicated mother, and loved my family, friends and church. The next five years were met with medical trials, including multiple concussions post-TBI, leading me back to speech therapy, physical, and cognitive therapy. Amidst the physical and emotional turmoil, the foundation of my marriage crumbled under the weight of the trauma endured, by all involved.

After a heart-wrenching divorce trial, I summoned the courage to embark on a new chapter of my life. Embracing my disabilities and entrusting this life to God's divine plan, I made the poignant decision to relinquish my apartment and any security I had in December 2023 due to financial constraints. With my loyal companion dog Buddy, by my side, I set out on a solo healing journey, in my minivan, across the states and am living my purpose.

Despite the challenges of my T.B.I. symptoms that render me unable to pursue traditional employment, I discovered a newfound passion for photography during my travels. Through my lens, I capture precious moments and create lasting memories for individuals. Offering my gift of photography to those who invite me to share in their special moment. These interactions serve as a platform to raise awareness about traumatic brain injuries, instill hope, and inspire others to persevere in the face of adversity. Most importantly, to share what God has done in my life, after losing everything.

In my encounters with fellow T.B.I. survivors, we exchange stories, offer mutual support, and find solace in our shared experiences. By gifting photo sessions to these resilient individuals, I hope to uplift their spirits, celebrate their beauty and strength as survivors. Additionally, I engage in spontaneous "In the Moment" photos that capture strangers in various settings, creating lasting memories and connections. Photography has helped me embrace people again.

My life's mission is to spread awareness, nurture faith, and inspire individuals with disabilities to pursue their passions. Through my gift of photography I hope to inspire others by the work God is doing in my life. As individuals with T.B.I. often experience short-term memory loss, capturing my healing journey through photography serves not only as a creative outlet but also as a means to help me remember where I've been and the people I meet.

Looking ahead my goal is to earn enough funds to be financially independent despite my disability, help others and hopefully upgrade out of living in my minivan to a camper van.
